My Adventures in April, May, and June

At the Everest Base Camp

On April 27, 2023, I trekked to Everest Base Camp, after 8 days of trekking, from Lukla where all trekkers to EBC and mountaineers to the top of Mt. Everest begin. In the end, it was to be a 12-day round trip of 130 KM and 3000 m gain in altitude with the help of my guide, Bishnu Bhatta, and my porter, Arus. The trek took sheer resilience, endurance, willpower, fitness, and hiking bistārī, slowly in Nepali. There would be days when it was cold and my body was tired, I willed myself to push through the metaphorical wall and found the strength to hike.
